Community guidelines

1. Report what you have seen

• Work without notice, closures, potholes and damage, diversion problems, stalled works.
• Be specific: where, what, when. Pin the exact spot.

2. Don't post

• Anyone's personal information: names, phone numbers, vehicle numbers, faces.
• Abuse, hate, threats, or anything defamatory, obscene or unlawful.
• Political campaigning, advertising or spam.
• Things you haven't seen yourself, or deliberately false information.

3. How moderation works

Every report is checked before it's marked verified. Other users can confirm reports they've also seen. We may edit, refuse or remove reports, and suspend accounts that repeatedly break these rules.

4. Ask us to remove something

Email hello@knowyourarea.co.in with the page link, what's wrong, and your contact details. We acknowledge within 24 hours and act within 15 days, or sooner where the law requires (for example within 24 hours for content that exposes someone's private information, and within 36 hours of a court order or lawful government direction).
